This is the chilling moment one of the Sri Lanka bomber brothers nervously shuffles back and forth before deciding to blow himself up.
Millionaire brothers Inshaf and Ilham Ibrahim killed the eight British victims at the Shangri-La and Cinnamon Grand hotels in the capital Colombo.
They were the sons of one of the island’s richest men and were pictured for the first time today as the total death toll reached 359.
CCTV footage capture the moment Inshaf walked into the Cinnamon Grand’s packed Taprobane restaurant and detonated his vest as guests ate their breakfast on Easter Sunday.
With a large backpack strapped to his back, he hesitates for a moment before blowing himself up just after 9am.
Inshaf had reportedly used a fake name and said he was on a business trip when he checked into the hotel the night before.
The authorities said they have identified eight of the nine terrorists involved, and all were from wealthy backgrounds.
The suicide bomber who studied in the UK was named earlier as Abdul Lathief Jameel Mohamed.
Mohamed is understood to have studied in the southeast of England between 2006 and 2007 and later did his postgraduate study in Australia before settling in Sri Lanka, security sources told Sky News.
Inshaf, 38, and Ilham, 36, were the sons of multi-millionaire spice trader Yoonus Ibrahim.
As police raided Ilham’s mansion hours after his attack, his pregnant wife Fatima blew herself up, killing her three children and three officers.
Inshaf’s brother-in-law Ashkhan Alawdeen described him as a psychopath who ‘deserves to be punished in hell’.
‘He lived under my own roof. He seemed so normal,’ he told Mail Online.
‘He had everything – why would he do something like this?
‘My sister is mentally broken. He has brought shame on our family.’
Inshaf owned a copper factory where it is thought the suicide vests were made.
He told his wife and four children he was flying on business to Zambia before attacking the hotel.
