Tyler Dooley claims his family has become a "national embarrassment" after the Duchess allegedly cut all ties with them.
It comes amid allegations that the Duchess rowed with Kate Middleton after she warned Meghan about speaking rudely to royal staff.
Tyler spilled the beans about the Markles' turmoil in a tell-all conversation with socialite Lady Colin Campbell.
The 26-year-old, who grows marijuana in Oregon, revealed he used to view Meghan as a "sister, but said he is now unable to contact her.
On a new MTV show, The Royal World, Tyler told Lady C: "We used to be close. That's the problem. I used to view her as a sister.
“We’re similar in age so she was everything to me and my brother.
“It’s been rough the last few years for us.
“The royal family, what’s happened with the mainstream media and this level of exposure on my family, it’s like we can’t even speak to her, everything just cut off. I don’t like what's happened to my family.
"It’s a national embarrassment."
Meghan has been at the centre of family rumours and scandal after the 37-year-old's estranged father, Thomas Markle, and half-siblings gave interviews slamming the Duchess of Sussex and the royal household itself.
Meghan’s mum Doria Ragland was the only relative to attend the royal wedding after her dad pulled out from walking her down the aisle, citing health problems.
It's also understood Meghan has not spoken to her dad since the wedding after he was caught staging paparazzi photos for cash.
She then criticised Meghan, saying: "I've never known of any member of a family to cut off their birth family, except electively.”
Thomas is reportedly desperate to make amends with Meghan after hearing that she's expecting her first child.
In an interview with the Mail on Sunday, Thomas revealed that he found out about his daughter's pregnancy on the radio.
Meghan's half sister, Samantha Markle, 53, has also given interviews and has been outspoken about Meghan on social media.
Wading into the family rift, Lady C told Tyler: "You have all been placed in a tremendously embarrassing and difficult position and the embarrassment started with the lack of an invitation to the wedding.
“There’s no way around it, that is the reality."
Tyler then asked Lady C: "
“Why do you think we didn’t [get invited]?
“Just for me, so I know.
“Do you think because she might have been embarrassed of who we are?”
Lady C replied: "Well, I would imagine that's the most like explanation."
The Duchess of Sussex has hit headlines yet again recently as rumours of a rift between her and Kate Middleton surfaced.
Sources have claimed the two do not get on, sparking Meghan and Prince Harry to move from Kensington Palace.
A palace spokeswoman refused to comment on Tyler's claims.
