A man trying to change a tire on a busy Brooklyn road was killed Saturday evening by a hit-run driver.
The victim, whose name was withheld pending family notification, was struck on Shore Parkway at E 28th street in Sheepshead Bay at about 6:40 pm.
The vehicle that hit the 65-year-old man – who died at Coney Island Hospital – was a white minivan with Pennsylvania plates. It was found abandoned nearby.
Cops were searching for its driver.
