A LaGuardia Airport worker is headed to jail for secretly recording women in one of the airport’s bathrooms — later telling cops he “was trying to video pretty girls.”

Samuel Rodriguez was sentenced Monday in a Queens court to six months behind bars for turning a single-stall bathroom “into his own personal peep show,” Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz said Tuesday.

Rodriguez, 39, of College Point, Queens, “admitted to preying on unwitting individuals by setting up his phone to record women using the bathroom,” Katz said in a statement.

The perv was foiled by a would-be victim on Dec. 19, 2018 after she heard his phone beep while “actively recording inside the paper towel dispenser,” the DA’s office said.

The woman — who entered the bathroom immediately after Rodriguez exited — took the phone and found footage showing Rodriguez “angling the device to capture anyone using the toilet opposite the dispenser,” Katz said.

Confronted by Port Authority police, Rodriguez fessed up to the crime and apologized, authorities said.

“I was trying to video pretty girls,” he told cops, according to the DA. “I was going to masturbate to it at home.”

Rodriguez pleaded guilty in September to unlawful surveillance in the second degree, and will be required to register as a sex offender upon his release, the DA said.
