‘Kids Say the Darndest Things’ loses 1 million viewers in just one week

Sunday night was all about live sports, and not the silly stuff coming out of the mouths of babes.

Last night, with a lead-in encore of “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” instead of the usual “America’s Funniest Home Videos,” ABC’s Tiffany Haddish-hosted “Kids Say the Darndest Things” lost 1 million viewers from last week.

Sorry, national pastime: NBC’s primetime NFL football ruled over Game 5 of Fox’s World Series.

NBC was first in ratings with a 4.2 rating/17 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 13.8 million, according to preliminary numbers.

Fox was second in ratings with a 2.0/8 and third in viewers with 10.2 million.

CBS was third in ratings with a 1.6/7 and second in viewers with 9.3 million.

ABC was fourth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in viewers with 3.2 million.

More to come…
