Kate wears black skinny jeans to meet young apprentices inspired by sport

Prince William and Kate Middleton are meeting young apprentices to learn how one of their projects is inspiring a community with sport.

Kate is stylishly dressed in a pair of black skinny jeans with a grey blazer jacket and black polo neck jumper for the event at the Basildon Sporting Village in Essex today. William is wearing a dark blue fleece with navy trousers.

They chatted to children and shook hands with their fans as they arrived.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will hear from graduates of the Coach Core scheme this afternoon.

Coach Core was launched to inspire youngsters with sport and create the next generation of coaches who will themselves go on to influence their communities in future generations.

It is a project of The Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The project is training hundreds of youths around the UK, giving them tuition, wages and helping them set up a future.

Nearly 400 people have now completed the scheme.

Last week Kate Middleton thrilled royal fans by wearing Princess Diana’s tiara at a State Banquet at Buckingham Palace.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a kingfisher blue Alexander McQueen dress for the event in honour of the King and Queen of the Netherlands.

Royal fans believe her necklace is from Queen Alexandra’s Wedding Parure, which was a gift from Albert Edward, Prince of Wales, ahead of their wedding in 1863.

Kate opted to pair the necklace with Princess Diana’s Cambridge Lover’s Knot tiara and the Princess of Wales’ Collingwood Pearl Drop Earrings.

Her opulent jewels accentuated her kingfisher blue gown by Alexander McQueen.
