PRINCE Andrew was used as "stardust" to attract people to shamed paedophile Jeffrey Epstein's sex parties, it's been claimed.
The billionaire deviant quickly fell out of favour with his A-list pals in the US after he admitted to procuring teen girls.
However, those that attended the tycoon's outrageous bashes at his £60m New York mansion claimed talk of Andrew's possible presence helped pull in guests.
She said: "Jeffrey knew exactly what he was doing.
"Royalty is stardust. People held their noses after he was convicted but they were not going to turn down the chance to mingle with royalty.”
There is no evidence the Prince attended the parties, just claims his name was used to entice others.
The news comes after we told how it was claimed the Duke of York , then 38, was reportedly the star guest at a lavish party thrown in his honour in 2010.
Flight logs revealed in court documents also place Andrew on the private jet, which had a bed which Epstein allegedly used for group sex.
In a statement released by Buckingham Palace on Saturday, Andrew, 59, admitted it was a “mistake” to continue to meet pervert Epstein after his release from prison in 2009.
He also suggested the financier duped him during their 11-year friendship by hiding his real persona from him.
But a woman who claims she was in Epstein’s mansion when Andrew was there told the Mirror: “There were girls coming and going the entire time (he) was inside the house. It was flagrant.”
The Prince is now reportedly willing to co-operate with the FBI over the shocking Epstein case if he is asked.
Buckingham Palace said the Duke of York would help authorities on both sides of the Atlantic in any investigations into the disgraced millionaire.
It has not yet commented on today's party claims.
The palace's aides told The Daily Mail: "Members of the Royal Family would always co-operate with the police in an appropriate way."
It comes after Prince Andrew released a statement on the mega-rich paedo, after his private life has been under intense scrutiny following Epstein’s suicide while awaiting trial for allegedly running a child sex ring.
He broke his silence to express "tremendous sympathy" for Epstein's victims in the lengthy statement issued by the Palace.
Angela Levin, a royal author, blasted the statement as "staggeringly arrogant, disingenuous and dishonest".
She wrote in the Mail On Sunday: "Besides expecting our Royals not to hang around with paedophiles, we also expect them to be honest. This whole statement reeks.
"Does Andrew really expect us to believe that someone he did not know well and only saw infrequently was invited into the Royals' inner sanctum?
"Andrew simply cannot escape the fact that he stayed with Epstein once he was already on the sex offender register after serving time inside for sexual abuse.
"If he really had such 'tremendous sympathy' he would speak to US authorities about what he knows of his former friend. Actions speak far louder than words."
In the statement Andrew said: "It is apparent to me since the suicide of Mr Epstein that there has been an immense amount of media speculation about so much in his life.
"This is particularly the case in relation to my former association or friendship with Mr Epstein.
"Therefore I am eager to clarify the facts to avoid further speculation.
"I met Mr Epstein in 1999. During the time I knew him, I saw him infrequently and probably no more than only once or twice a year. I have stayed in a number of his residences.
"At no stage during the limited time I spent with him did I see, witness or suspect any behaviour of the sort that subsequently led to his arrest and conviction."
Disgraced financier Epstein, 66, hanged himself in his New York jail cell on August 10 amid a string of multi-million dollar lawsuits brought by some of his alleged victims.
ROYAL 'MISTAKE'
Andrew was notoriously photographed with his arm around Epstein’s alleged “sex slave” Virginia Roberts, now Virginia Giuffre, when she was 17.
But he has denied sleeping with her and declared himself “appalled” by reports of his former friend’s “alleged crimes”.
Ms Giuffre's claims against Andrew were struck from a court case in 2015.
The judge ruled they were “immaterial and impertinent”.
Andrew has reiterated it was a "mistake" seeing Epstein after his release from an 18-month prison term in 2010 for prostituting minors.
He was pictured with the financier in Central Park, New York, at the time and footage has since emerged of him at Epstein's home in the city in the same year.
His statement continued: "I have said previously that it was a mistake and an error to see him after his release in 2010 and I can only reiterate my regret that I was mistaken to think that what I thought I knew of him was evidently not the real person, given what we now know.
"I have tremendous sympathy for all those affected by his actions and behaviour.
"His suicide has left many unanswered questions and I acknowledge and sympathise with everyone who has been affected and wants some form of closure.
'I AM AT A LOSS'
"This is a difficult time for everyone involved and I am at a loss to be able to understand or explain Mr Epstein's lifestyle. I deplore the exploitation of any human being and would not condone, participate in, or encourage any such behaviour."
Epstein's inquiry is now focusing on several alleged co-conspirators, believed to include Ghislaine Maxwell, 57, the daughter of disgraced newspaper tycoon Robert Maxwell.
At least five women who say they were abused by Epstein have filed lawsuits against his £458million estate after the paedo killed himself.
All said Epstein used a “vast enterprise” of associates to recruit them, subject them to unwanted sex acts and keep them under his control.
He was arrested on July 6 over claims he was involved in the sex-trafficking of dozens of girls as young as 14 from at least 2002 until 2005.
Epstein had denied the charges and was being held in prison until his trial where he was facing up to 45 years in prison if convicted.
Andrew is on holiday in Spain with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, 59, as Buckingham Palace fights to clear his name amid revelations that have surfaced since Epstein’s death.
A previous Buckingham Palace statement said: "The Duke of York has been appalled by the recent reports of Jeffrey Epstein's alleged crimes.
"His Royal Highness deplores the exploitation of any human being and the suggestion he would condone, participate in or encourage any such behaviour is abhorrent."
