A BROTHER and sister were shocked to discover a treasure trove of electronics when they went to take their bins out.
The Chai siblings, from Henan province, China, stumbled upon 30 new iPhone 14's worth £20,000 carelessly shoved into a rubbish skip outside their flat.
The pair are now being praised online for returning their loot to a distressed courier who had misplaced them.
Mr Chai was throwing the rubbish out when he first saw the Apple products hidden in the bin outside his flat on July 7.
He immediately called his sister and after further rummaging through the litter, they found 30 brand new iPhones 14 Pro models.
The siblings called the police, who discovered a local courier, Lui, had accidentally left them on the street the day before when he was arranging his packages.

Lui had reportedly been paralyzed by fear by his mistake, knowing that he "would never be able to pay the cost of all the phones worth 350,000 yuan [£20,000]," South China Morning Post reported.
Lui's delivery company bosses had already discovered using CCTV that a cleaner had taken the boxes and the police helped to track her down.
The cleaner had not even recognized the loot she had found and dumped all the iPhones in the bin outside the Chai's flat.
Instead, she chose to keep the bigger cardboard boxes they were in.

“She threw away phones worth 350,000 yuan for boxes worth 2 yuan [20p],” Liu’s boss at the courier company said.
At her house, they found another seven discarded iPhones and so far all but eight have been found.
On their decision to call the police and not keep their £20k treasure, Ms Chai said: "A noble woman makes a living in a noble way.”
The duo were praised online for the kindness and honesty.
One commented: "They have literally saved the delivery man’s life."
“Your hearts are more valuable than the phones," another said.
It comes as a thrifty man has discovered how to make thousands from rummaging through others long-lost possessions.
Jack, from the US, regularly buys abandoned storage lockers in the hopes to find treasures he can sell – anything from rare records to collectible toys and Game Boys are hidden amongst the rubbish.

Meanwhile, a self-proclaimed treasure hunter who bought a locked box from a charity shop was left amazed with what they found inside.
TikToker @Bearded_Thrifter made the stunning discovery after he took a punt on a mystery box at a Goodwill Bins outlet.
