Elisa, who started riding at two and eventing aged four, also put the video on Facebook and wrote: ‘Thoroughbreds sure do have an abundance of personality.’

In the short clip Sharpie shows off his teeth and gums as the leaf blower blasts open his lips.

The adorable horse looks straight down the camera lens clearly enjoying the fresh breeze and making his funny faces.

After a few seconds he takes a small break from the leaf blower and looks instead to the corner, where a floor fan can be seen.

Elisa can be heard giggling in the background and saying ‘you’re ridiculous’, clearly delighted by the cute horse.

Elisa said: ‘Sharpie has a goofy personality. He loves rolling in shavings, and sounds like a whale when he does it.

‘Some of his favorite things are the water hose and the blower. He takes his work very seriously and he tries really hard.’

Sharpie is owned by Susan Day and has raced 61 times and won 7 times earning $59,793 (£46,000) at the track.

He is currently in training as a three day eventer with four star rider Elisa Wallace.
