Horrific clip catches vile carer abusing elderly dementia sufferer by calling her ‘evil’ and ‘disgusting’

Susan Hind shouted insults at 78-year-old Martha Davison, as well as pushing soiled clothes at the OAP's face in the sick tirade of abuse.

Hind has since admitted to three counts of ill treatment or wilful neglect, given a 24-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months, Bournemouth Echo reported.

In the sickening recordings, Hind could be heard telling Ms Davison she was a "disgrace" after the elderly woman soiled herself.

She was also heard mocking her elderly charge, saying: "I know the one that's the evil one – and that's you. The one that likes to poo herself."

In another recording, Hind was filmed screaming: "You make me feel sick. You're a dirty, disgusting person."

Hind had been caught on film after Ms Davison's daughter set up CCTV in the Poole, Dorset home, worried her mother would fall.

Instead, she was left horrified to discover the vile abuse her mother suffered.

Hind had been working as a carer with provider My Life Living. She had acted as Ms Davison's carer for four years and would visit her six times a day.

Defending, Leah Dillon told Poole magistrate's court that the situation had escalated due to Ms Davison's dementia.

Sentencing, chairman of the bench Cyril Bishop told Hind: "You were in a position of trust. Your manner in dealing with her was unkind, it was degrading and it was cruel."

Richard Oakley, senior crown prosecutor for CPS Wessex, said after sentencing: "Hind should have treated this victim with dignity and respect but instead subjected her to abuse, mockery and undignified acts.

"We hope sentencing brings some sense of justice to the victim's family."

Hind was also given a £200 fine, £300 compensation and a £115 victim surcharge.
