The video was recorded in a parking lot in Houston last Thursday afternoon, with the person who captured the clip claiming they pulled over as it wasn’t safe to drive.
The footage begins with a lone man stepping into the body of water, as he seemingly believes it is quite shallow.
However, he completely disappears into the deep ditch, with only the umbrella he was holding above his head still visible.
The person who recorded the clip told ViralHog on Wednesday that they tried to warn other pedestrians as to the dangers of the deceptive puddle.

‘I kept recording and warning people to not cross but they didn’t believe me and kept walking,’ they stated.
A family was the next unsuspecting group to walk into the puddle, with a mom suddenly sinking waist deep into the water.

The mom was holding her son’s hand at the time, but thankfully no one was injured in the incident.
