Health Lottery launches new Mega Raffle – here’s how you could win £250k

The Health Lottery has launched a new Mega Raffle – with a whopping £250,000 up for grabs every month.

Players have the chance to win the amazing jackpot, while supporting local health causes across the UK.

It is hoped that the raffle – which launches this Saturday at 7pm – will help to raise money for hundreds of charities.

And taking part is simple.

All you need to do is enter the Health Lottery by paying £1 per line and choosing five numbers between 1 and 50.

If you can’t decide which numbers to choose, you can ask for a Quick Pick ticket and let the random number generator do it for you.

For each line you purchase in the main Health Lottery draw, you will also receive one entry into that month’s Mega Raffle.

This applies to each of the lottery’s five draws per week.

You will then have the opportunity to win a further £250,000.

The Health Lottery aims to make a real difference to thousands across Britain, with more than £100 million so far raised by society lotteries through it.

Martin Ellice, from the Health Lottery, said: “This Saturday’s first ever £250,000 Mega Raffle is momentous for The Health Lottery.

"This is why we want more players than ever before.

"All of our work here at The Health Lottery has one specific purpose: to raise more money for those local charities who need it the most.

"The more people take part, the more help we can provide.”

This month, Health Lottery South East was raising money through The Health Lottery scheme to support local good causes in its region.

One lucky player, Martyn, from Swindon, discovered he had scooped a £49,535 jackpot prize as he was getting ready for work one morning.

The 58-year-old said: “My first reaction was that I couldn’t believe it. I checked the ticket three times and then realised that I had got all the numbers."

The Health Lottery manages 12 regional lotteries across the country. Each month, the money raised is allocated to a different one of those regions.

For the main Health Lottery draw, the top prize is a guaranteed minimum of £25,000, with other prizes including £10,000, £250 and £50, among others.

You can buy tickets online at www.healthlottery.co.uk .

They are also available from more than 32,000 local retailers, including the Post Office, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrisons, McColls and WH Smith.
