Gatwick drama – Cops storm easyJet flight on tarmac after ‘security threat’ made against plane – The Sun

POLICE officers have stormed an easyJet flight on the tarmac at Gatwick Airport because of a "security threat" made against aviation staff, it has been reported.

Worried passengers posted pictures on social media showing cops boarding their plane, which travelled from Krakow in Poland, to carry out checks.

Airline customer Joel Smith tweeted: "Gatwick Airport stopped. Just landed but stuck on tarmac.

"Flight captain says 'due to a security threat made towards aviation'. Emergency services currently checking aircraft."

He added that police were responding to a threat made to Polish cops against the airline and that officers were carrying out protocol to investigate the plane.

It is not clear what the threat was.
