BRAZEN one-eyed cop killer Dale Cregan has been pictured posing in designer clobber while serving life in jail.

The fiend was snapped in a flash grey and black Hugo Boss polo top inside maximum security Ashworth Hospital.

Cregan, 39, posed next to his nephew Oliver Cregan, 20, for the picture, which was taken by his sister Kelly.

She posted it on Instagram with the caption: "The boys".

Cregan is serving four whole life sentences for the gun and grenade murders of PCs Fiona Bone and Nicola Hughes.

Nicola's heartbroken mum Bryn Hughes has slammed the photo of her daughter's killer.

She told the Mirror: "I wish I could pose for pictures with my Nicola.

“However that privilege was cruelly taken away from us in September 2012 in a cowardly act.

"All we have is to look at is old images and wonder what she would be doing, how much she has changed and how she should be enjoying her life.”

Cregan was transferred to Ashworth Hospital in Merseyside due to his unstable mental state.

He previously boasted about making pizza, playing pool and getting "ripped" at the hospital, which counts Moors murderer Ian Brady among its former inmates.

Patients are allowed to touch their relatives and pose for pictures, while visitors can bring clothes in.

Sister Kelly, whose son Oscar was locked up last month for being a drug pusher called "Bad Man", regularly shares snaps of her killer brother.

Cregan murdered two gangland rivals Mark Short, 23, and his dad David, 46, in Manchester in 2012 before going on the run.

He then lured Fiona, 31, and Nicola, 23, to his bolt-hole where he launched into a brutal attack against the unarmed officers.

Cregan fired 32 shots from a Glock pistol within 31 seconds and fired a M75 grenade at Fiona and Nicola.
