Family pay tribute to ‘sweetest and kindest’ seven-year-old boy who died after falling off a wall at a pub in east London

Family and friends of the ‘sweetest and kindest’ seven-year-old boy who died from falling off a pub wall have expressed their heartbreak.
Harvey Tyrrell died in hospital after the accident, which occurred in the back garden of the King Harold pub in Harold Wood, near Romford, east London on Tuesday.
Witnesses at the scene said that Harvey had climbed over the wall to retrieve a ball when he tripped and hit his head.

He was rushed to hospital at around 5.30pm, but was sadly pronounced dead an hour later.
Facebook users have paid tribute to the young boy, with one user having described him as the ‘most-sweetest, kindest little boy’.
Another tribute, by Harvey’s aunt, Barbara Way, was among many of devastated relatives and friends paying tribute.
Beneath a photo posted by Harvey’s father she wrote: ‘We saw this photo and said he would break someone’s heart one day with those looks. Little did we know that it would be everyone’s hearts that are now broken.’
A JustGiving page has also been set up by family friend Francesca Piccolo, and has already reached its target of £16,000.

The funds raised will be spent on a funeral for Harvey and a message on the page states: ‘Harvey was a beautiful, happy & healthy 7 year old boy. Who loved his football just like any other boy his age.
‘Unfortunately, on the 11th September Harvey had a tragic accident & sadly passed away, leaving his mum, dad and family completely heartbroken. The paramedics tried to help resuscitate Harvey for over an hour but he had already been taken by the angels.
‘Please help to raise money to support Harvey’s parents and family in funding for the funeral of their little angel.

‘Any donations over funeral costs will be donated to a Childrens Charity of Danielle and Lewis’s choice.

Messages of support have flooded the page, with supporters coming out in force to raise a healthy amount in memory of Harvey.

Another tribute from Tracey Lewis said: ‘Harvey was an absolute delight to be around. He even tried, and failed, to teach me to floss. I will never forget that amazing voice! Xx.’
The page has currently raised £18,362 by 532 supporters.
At the scene of the accident a brown teddy bear with a note saying ‘we love you Harvey’ was left at the door. Two bunches of flowers were also left at the scene.
Although not the tragic youngster’s school, Harold Court Primary School sent an email to parents with ‘sincerest condolences’ to the family.

It read: ‘Dear Parents/Carers,
‘We are all very sorry to hear the sad news of the passing of a child in our community.
‘We want them to know they are in our thoughts and we pass on our sincerest condolences to the family and loved ones at this very difficult time.

‘The Harold Court School Community.’
Police are treating the incident as ‘unexplained’ and the Health and Safety Executive has been informed.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: ‘Police were called by the London Ambulance Service to a pub in Station Road shortly after 5.20pm on Tuesday to a report of a child who had fallen from a wall.
‘Officers and paramedics attended and a seven-year-old boy was found with serious injuries.
‘He was taken to an east London hospital where he was pronounced dead at 6.33pm. His next of kin have been informed.’
He added: ‘The death is currently being treated as unexplained. A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.
‘The Health and Safety Executive has been informed.’
