This is the funny moment a reveller handed over his Nando’s loyalty card instead of his ID to a security guard as he tried to get into a club.

In the footage filmed by Sam Wells, 27,  a security guard, in Oldham, Tom Durden, 20, confidently hands over the card, not realising it is not his ID.

Mr Durden, who appears drunk, also mistakes another security guard’s walkie talkie for a breathalyser and tries to blow into the antenna.

The footage has gone viral with more than three million views and was posted on TikTok on Sunday with the caption ‘The weekend is here.’

In his drunken haze, Mr Durden makes the security guards laugh.

They tease him by holding up the card for the fast food chain as if comparing it to his face while one of them says: ‘That doesn’t look like you, that!’ 

The other security guards then ask each other if they think the card – which does not feature a photo – looks like Mr Durden.

One online viewer commented on the video, saying: ‘A sign it’s time to go home!’

Another one said: ‘Poor lad. ‘ A third commented: ‘Love this’ and another simply wrote laughing emojis on the post.
