CBS has been subpoenaed by the state Attorney General’s Office, the Manhattan DA and the city Commission on Human Rights, all of which are investigating alleged sexual misconduct by Les Moonves, the network’s former CEO, according to a new filing.
The network filed Securities and Exchange Commission paperwork on Friday revealing it has been subpoenaed in the three probes.
All three inquiries are seeking from CBS any documents relating to the network’s own ongoing investigation into Moonves and allegations of cultural problems at CBS News and throughout the network.
“The Company is cooperating with the ongoing investigation and related inquiries,” CBS says in the SEC filing.
Moonves, who left CBS in early September, has denied any wrongdoing.
