Boy, 12, jumps to his death from roof of 15-story Manhattan apartment building

A 12-YEAR-old boy died after he jumped from the roof of a 15-story residential building in Manhattan on Tuesday.

The young boy, who has not yet been named, leapt off the building on Park Avenue, near 86th Street, at around 4pm.

First responders rushed the boy to the nearby Lenox Hill hospital.

However, he couldn't be saved and was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.

The apartment building the boy jumped from is 15-stories tall, according to StreetEasy.com.

The NYPD has not yet returned a request for further comment from The Sun.

An investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
