Barons Court evacuated after London Tube passenger is ‘shoved onto live tracks in fight’

One man was arrested on the scene and another was taken to hospital for minor injuries.

A British Transport spokesman said: "At approximately 11.15pm on Sunday evening (29/10) officers were called to Barons Court station after reports of an assault resulting in a person falling onto the tracks. Police were quickly on scene and a man (no further details at present) was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

"He has been taken to custody as enquiries continue. The victim has been taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries, they were thankfully not struck by a train. 

"A number of enquiries are underway to establish what happened and the circumstances leading to the victim being on the tracks.
