Ashley Graham is hairy and unbothered.
The 33-year-old model recently shared a video to TikTok reacting to stories written about her unapologetically flaunting her body hair. She laughed as pictures of the headlines flashed behind her. In one scene she lifted up her arm and exposed some of her armpit hair.
"You'll never get a razor partnership with hairy armpits," she sarcastically captioned the video (Graham was recently announced as the face of Flamingo, a razors and waxing company).
Graham has been open about her body hair journey as of late.
"Day one of me not shaving my legs because I don't want to," she declared in a video posted to TikTok. "Day three of not shaving my legs because a little stubble never hurt nobody. Day four and I still don't feel like shaving my legs or my pits if you can imagine. Day 11 of not shaving my legs because I don't want to and I'm still hot."
After zooming into her leg hair, she then held up a razor and said, "and now I'm shaving because I wanted to because it's my body because I get to chose if I want hair, if I don't want hair just like you."
Fans took to the comments to praise Graham for challenging societal norms.
"More reasons to love you," one fan said.
"U are beautiful and iconic," a commenter added.
"This is one of many reasons why I have so much respect for you," someone praised.
"For real, let this be heard, it's natural," a TikTok user continued.
In a statement on Flamingo's website, Graham said in part, “My philosophy has always been: shave what you want, wax what you want, leave what you want — do what works for you.”
Prior to this campaign, she had shared previous photos of herself rocking her armpit hair via her social media, like in November where she included a naked pic of herself fully exposing her body hair in a compilation of photos.

She was also transparent about her armpit hair in an August interview on Today with Hoda & Jenna where she even showed off her body hair to the camera and talked about her changing body since becoming a mom in January 2020
"It has been full-on sweatpants. I'm lucky if I put a bra on in the morning. I haven't shaved my armpits in I don't know how long. My mother is fully disgusted with that by the way, but it's just — things don't matter anymore," she admitted. "I think for everything that I've ever stood for, it's about women being and feeling great in their skin no matter who they are. But now as a mother, I think it's even more important because I'm not just a role model for people who follow me, I'm a role model for [my son]."
Over the years, celebrities like Amandla Stenberg, Paris Jackson, Emily Ratajkowski, Bella Thorne and others have taken pride in their body hair. Recently, Katy Perry made headlines after opening up about not shaving her legs, particularly since becoming a mom.

In an Instagram Story last month, Perry's American Idol co-star commented on her unshaved legs saying,"I know you're a mom, but we gotta do something about that leg hair." After zooming into her legs, Perry responded proudly, "no! I don't got time! I rather cuddle with my daughter!" Perry captioned the post #MomsKnow.
