An artist has shared bizarre photos of what he thinks the real-life Home Simpson would look like along with other familiar characters.
California-based artist Miguel Vasquez creates 3-D renderings of animated characters and transforms them into realistic images complete with disproportionate facial features.
For example, Vasquez’s rendition of Homer Simpson of the hit animated sitcom The Simpson’s, appears with bulging eyes, an over-sized mouth and a five-o-clock shadow akin to his animated inspiration.
His other characters include, a disturbing interpretation of Spongebob and Patrick, Courage the Cowardly Doig and Mike from Monster’s Inc.

The similarities are frightening with characters depicted with distorted facial features
Vasquez shares his images on his social media platforms. He recently posted a photo of Homer to his 40,000 Instagram followers, sparking mixed reviews of the his rendition.
‘Scary but cool,’ one user said. While another Instagrammer wrote: ‘Unfortunately won’t be able to un-see this.’
Among some of his most bizarre shots are of Spongebob and Patrick Star from the hit Nickelodeon children’s series SPondebob Squarepants.

Though the title character is definitely a sponge in the animated version and his side-kick is a starfish, Vasquez gives both of the character’s strong human features that could haunt your dreams from days to come.
Instead the animated version’s famous two front buck-teeth, the real life Spongebob has a mouth full of teeth with the notorious front two remaining as prominent as ever.
Patrick Star’s transformation is even more alarming.
To give the human starfish all five points, Vasquez has mutated Patrick’s head into a cone head.

The real animated character’s appear much more joyful then their real-life counterparts
Mike from Monster’s Inc is typically a character children adore – but not in Vasquez’s world
Vasquez even able to turn the lovable monsters from Pixar’s Monster’s Inc. into creatures that will give children real nightmares.
Mike, the one-eyed monster, is depicted with multiple rows of razer sharp teeth and claws that could slice through anything.
Then there’s Courage, the hairless pup from Courage the Cowardly Dog.
The artist perfectly captures the hairlessness, teeth, tongue and famously scared pose that makes this pup one you do not want to cuddle.
Vasquez told the Huffington Post last year that he has an obsession ‘with popular fictional characters turned into somewhat realistic alternative versions.’
It’s clear that his obsession has become successful for him and received the attention of people all around the world.
Courage the Cowardly Dog is indeed hairless, but it doesn’t seem like you’ll want to pet this real-life version anytime soon
