Armed robbers stole a litter of day-old bulldog puppies after threatening a heavily-pregnant woman and her three young children.
The shocking raid unfolded in the Stretford area of Manchester yesterday night, when two hooden men burst into the family home of Leeanne Corbett.
They demanded cash and mobile phones before making off with the eight French Bulldog puppies, which were only a day old.

Ms Corbett, 26, said she thought her partner had arrived home when she heard the doorbell but when she answered the door she was pushed into the kitchen and held a butcher’s-style knife to her stomach.
The raiders demanded money from the sale of the dogs, but she replied they are only a day old and had not yet been sold.
The gang then wrenched a Playstation from her seven-year-old son’s hands, but left the console after the mother pleaded with them not to take it.
An incubator in which the puppies were being kept was then taken from the house and the pair disappeared.

Ms Corbett said the litter could die if they are not fed for more than 36 hours.
She released a heartbreaking picture of the puppies mother, family pet Reign. The mother dog is said to be biting her paws because she is so distressed.
Leeanne added: ‘Trying to sell them will be very hard. I think they won’t know what to do with them. They need feeding every hour, they are puppies.
‘Drop them off at a vets so they can get home to their mum, they won’t survive without their mum.’

One of the men is described as white, of small build and skinny. The other man had light freckles on his face. They both spoke with Manchester accents.
Police say none of the family were injured, but have been left shaken up by their ordeal, which happened shortly before 10pm.
Officers have launched an appeal for information amid fears the tiny puppies could die without their mother.
Detective Sergeant Dave Jones of GMP’s Trafford Borough, said: ‘It’s completely shocking that a pregnant woman and her three young children have faced such a terrifying ordeal, and we are determined to find the men responsible.
‘As well as finding the offenders, an immediate priority is to find these puppies. They are only a day old, and they won’t survive for long without their mum, so they need to be brought home as soon as possible.
‘I need anyone with information about the whereabouts of the puppies, or the men responsible, to please contact police as a matter of urgency.’

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: ‘Around 21.50pm on Tuesday 23 October 2018, police were called to reports that armed thieves had forced their way in to a family home on Alpha Road in Stretford.
‘Anyone with information should contact police on 0161 856 7747 quoting reference number 2218 of 24/10/18 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.’
