Mueller signed a complaint form filed by another neighbor back in 2017 when Miska was locked up in King County’s ‘kitty jail’ for several months. She was later reunited with her family, after they were warned she faced being put to sleep or sent out of the country.
In the wake of Miska’s incarceration, Danieli hired an attorney, Jon Zimmerman, who filed a lawsuit against Regional Animal Services (RASKC), Mueller, and other city officials.
Now, Miska’s owner is suing for all the cat’s charges to be voided by a judge. The lawsuit also asks for animal control to remove their determination that Miska is ‘vicious.’
Kathleen Rollock, a neighbor familiar with the cat and Danieli, said Miska is ‘friendly with my dog. It’s friendly with people.’
She continue: ‘It’s just gotten too far and I feel very bad for the family because it’s a beloved pet.’
