X Factor final date confirmed – and it’s very soon

Simon Cowell confirmed when The X Factor final would be airing, leaving viewers stunned.

That’s because the media mogul revealed that it was just three weeks away.

Speaking to hopeful Dalton, he said: "I have a feeling we’ll be seeing you in three weeks for the final."

There are still ten contestants left in the competition, meaning that there will have to be double eliminations every week in order to have only four left in the final.

This comes after Simon was branded "stroppy" and "rude" after swearing and sniping at Dermot O’Leary tonight.

The 59-year-old appeared to not be in the best mood this evening after being probed by the host about losing at act last week.

Admitting that he had made a "c***-up" last Saturday, he surly asked: "Can I introduce my act now?"

He then introduced performer Scarlett, but many viewers were left with raised eyebrows at his tone,

One tweeted: "Simon was a bit stroppy with Dermot there."

While another commented: " "Simon: Can I introduce my act now?!" Rude much?…..#LiveShows #XFactor."

A third remarked: "Simon being overly sassy towards Dermot this week. Someone has touched a nerve! #bringbackmolly #xfactor."

Simon’s antics come just as it was reported Little Mix has split from his record label Syco Music.

The former X Factor winners announced the news days just ahead of their new album release.

Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, will move to label RCA, which is part of the wider Sony Group, just like Syco.

A spokesman for Simon told The Sun : "Syco Music will no longer work with Modest Management and therefore any artists signed to that management company.

"We do, of course, wish all artists affected by this decision every future success. Consequently, LM5, the forthcoming Little Mix album A&R’d and released on Syco Music, is to be serviced by RCA at the request of Syco and Simon Cowell."

t’s said the group, who are due to release their new album very soon, are said to have grown frustrated with Cowell’s label over the last few months and to have had some fallouts during the making of their new record.

The newspaper reports that the girls confronted the X Factor boss in a strongly-worded email, raising the issues they had with his label.

A bigger row is then said to have erupted between the label and the girls’ management company Modest.

Cowell is said to have then decided to cut ties with all of the company’s artists, which also include last year’s X Factor winners Rak-Su.
