X Factor fans think Dalton Harris is "on another level" and this year's clear favourite

Jamaican singer Dalton Harris’s performance went down an absolute treat tonight (November 24), with The X Factor viewers basically handing him the crown one week early.

This isn’t the first time Dalton has been mentioned as this year’s clear favourite and with his booming yet soulful version of ‘Feeling Good’ erupting the stage, the odds of this special guy’s victory just increased.

Fans went wild for Dalton’s performance – as is tradition this series – and even judge Simon Cowell shared a spectacular sentiment with the singer once everyone had time to process the moment.

Recalling a guest appearance from Michael Bublé on The X Factor a number of years ago, Simon told Dalton that his performance had the same impact on him, equalling the Canadian’s supreme talent.

Probably a long shot from Simon there, but this lot on Twitter won’t be arguing against it.

Meanwhile, the hugely talented singer has recently opened up about his troubled childhood, explaining that he used to live on the streets at the age of 15.

His difficult younger years have made his current success on The X Factor all the more sweet.

“My childhood had no love or support,” he said. “Applause means, finally, I have value. When I sing I feel safe and free from everything I left behind. I’m in a room of happiness.”

The X Factor returns tomorrow (November 25) on ITV.
