X Factor fans predict Dreamer singer Janice Robinson will win the competition

The judging panel and fans were blown away as Livin’ Joy star Janice Robinson sang her own hit Dreamer at the auditions and sailed through to the next round.

Janice headed to The X Factor to try-out 24 years after scoring a number one hit with the song.

And fans are already predicting that she will have huge success in the competition.

One wrote: "So The X Factor has found it’s winner JANICE and the show only just started tonight …. #XFactor"

A second tweeted: "Janice Robinson is on #XFactor let’s end it now!"

Another added: "23 years later & Janice comes along and belts out the absolute classic Dreamer, mine and everyones anthem! Can we sack off the rest of the show and make her our winner. Christmas number 1 for the win! #XFactor"

She is now a 50-year-old mother-of-two daughters and has been out of the music industry for many years.

However, Janice is now ready for another shot at stardom so she headed to the auditions to try out along side the next generation of singers.

She took to the stage to sing the iconic track that made her name back in the 90s – and it had a huge effect on the panel.

Judge Robbie Williams was left fighting back tears as he realised the significance of the moment.

Dreamer became one of the most well-known tracks of the mid-1990s dance scene as it rocketed up the charts and dominated radio air play.

US singer Janice shot to fame as the lead singer of Livin' Joy, but later left the band to go solo.

She released a well-received solo album, The Color Within Me, in 1999, and toured with Tina Tuner in 2000.

Robbie is a new judge along with his wife Ayda and One Direction's Lous Tomlinson, who join Simon Cowell on the panel this year.
