WARNING: Spoilers below

So why is Good Girls underrated? The comedy-drama, which originally aired on America's NBC network, has established perfect harmony between Beth, her sister Annie and their best friend Ruby.

The threesome bounce off each other exceptionally well and offer something different to the group.

Beth, can be described as the fearsome leader, who is willing to take on atask even if the risk is far greater than the reward.

Annie, is a fiery no-nonsense bada** who has a big heart and good intentions, but her impulses sometimes get her into sticky situations.

Whereas Ruby tends to be the voice of reason, but usually gives in to a dangerous mission should she not get her own way, albeit reluctantly.

The facial expressions of the three characters are priceless and does well to heighten the drama.

The perfect way to sum up the three mothers are Good girls, who do bad things, for good reasons and this is portrayed magnificently throughout the show.

The constant battle of trying to outsmart villain and gang leader Rio (Manny Montana), who always manages to stay one step ahead leaves fans transfixed and it will be interesting to see what shenanigans the girls get up to in season four.

Will they finally be able to take down Rio and live normal lives again? Or will their newfound lives of crime continue to haunt them?

Until then, lets have a look at some of the show's most hilarious moments so far.

Their very first robbery

In the show's very first episode, Beth, Annie and Ruby's life of crime began when they robbed the grocery store that employed Annie at the time, Fine and Frugal.

With their backs against the wall and their families in danger if they didn't come up with the cash, the trio decided to do something they never thought they'd have to.

Seeing the mothers walk into the store with masks on, mini guns in hand and rubber gloves was a sight to behold.

Whole holding everyone hostage, Beth trying to have alight-hearted chat with a six-year-old girl, who was being hugged tightly by her petrified mother while a stunned Ruby watched on set to the tone for the what fans would be treated to from that moment on.

Annie found a way to keep Boomer quiet in typical Annie style

In the very next episode in season one, the trio caught Boomer running down the street with his hands tied behind his back.

He managed to escape from the treehouse the girls had trapped him in, but he didn't get too far before they tracked him down and Annie took matters into her own hands.

While Beth and Ruby looked on from the car, Annie caught Boomer who fell into a ditch and he squealed as Annie ripped off his trousers and took a picture of his penis on his phone that they had previously stolen.

She sent the indecent image to her daughter Sadie's phone, to stitch Boomer up for sexting a minor should he tell the cops about his kidnapping. Well that's one way to keep someone quiet.

When the girls disposed of Leslie's body (or so they thought)

In season two episode three, the girls were in big trouble once again as they were forced to dump the body of who they thought was Leslie Peterson.

Mary Pat had told them Boomer was dead and the pair had to get rid of his body as she knew they were making counterfeit money.

Getting rid of Boomer's body naturally proves to be an incredibly awful experience for a number of reasons.

The horrendous sound of the body sloshing around in the trunk of a minivan was horrific.

However, while the thought of deposing a corpse is never pleasant, the scene was oddly funny, due to the ladies and their pure disgust as they shuffled it towards the dustbin in a dark alley.

Beth loses it in the Supermarket

Beth lost her daughter pink's blanket after losing it while on a mission.

In Season 2 episode 7, Beth decided she would re-knit the blanket and popped to the store to buy the yarn needed, but there was only one left of the particular colour she needed and it was in the basket of another customer.

The fearsome mother-of-four pleaded with the customer to give her the yarn for her daughter, but she refused as she wanted the yarn to knit something for her cat.

A frustrated Beth lost it and berated the customer, before a store worker added some more yarn of the colour she needed.

The hilarious scene ended when a clearly embarrassed Beth picked up some of the new stock before leaving to rue her moment of madness.

Ruby gets shot in the failed gas station robbery

This shouldn't have been funny, but this hot mess of a robbery proved to be one the funniest moments in Good Girls season three.

Going back to one of their old methods, the trio decided to rob Annie's workplace, but this time it was a petrol station.

They enlisted the help of JT from the loan office to help them and while wearing a pair of tights on his head, JT brandished a knife in front of shocked Annie, but the plans soon went haywire when a man in the petrol station shop thought the robbery was real and held his gun ready to shoot.

The facial expressions of all involved were priceless as the frightened customer ended up pulling the trigger but rather than shooting JT, he shot Ruby in the knee. Well that certainly wasn't in the script.
