We remember when 19 Kids and Counting first aired on TLC over a decade ago — and since then, the world has been obsessed with the Duggars. It all started with Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, two ultra-religious and conservative parents who set out to have a large family. And while many members of the Duggar family were just toddlers when the show first began, they’re all growing up fast — and some of the older kids are even married with children of their own. Thanks to Counting On, we still get to keep up with their lives, too.
Jessa stands as one of the most polarizing Duggar family members, but one thing’s for sure — she also loves children. Here’s why Counting On fans suspect Jessa is going to be pregnant again sooner rather than later.

We’re not sure if Jessa would ever have a whopping 19 children like her mother, but she definitely appreciates her big family and has already begun creating her own. In Touch Weekly reminds us Ben Seewald first started courting Jessa in 2013. And the two were never shy about their relationship, either, as Jessa has noted in the past that they even had unchaperoned phone calls early on in their courting (a big no-no for the Duggar kids while dating). It was just a year after they began courting when Jessa and Ben married as well.
Nowadays, the couple has two children, Spurgeon and Henry. Spurgeon was born in 2013, and Henry in 2017. Jessa and Ben’s family may be of typical size now, but fans are already suspecting the two will expand shortly.
Jessa and Ben have mentioned they want to grow their family
People talked to Jessa and Ben back in February 2017 about their marriage, kids, and hopes for the future, and fans gained a ton of insight. At the time, Spurgeon was just 15 months old, and Henry was a newborn. But even with just having a new baby to care for, the couple couldn’t help but discuss their hopes for expanding their family in the future.
As Ben said, “Right now we have two kids and there’s two of us, so it’s man-to-man coverage. When we have more, we’ll have to switch it up to a zone defense!” And Jessa added, “My mom always says, ‘Love doesn’t divide, it multiplies.’ It’s so true.”
She’s mentioned adopting and fostering children is also on the table

Jessa and Ben’s kids are biologically their own, but the couple has mentioned multiple times they’d also be interested in expanding their little family via adoption. To People in 2017, Jessa said, “It will be a little while since we just had a baby, but adopting and fostering to adopt is very much in our hearts.”
Even before that interview, in 2016, Jessa told Us Weekly that she and Ben have “seen firsthand the amazing power of adoption.” And she also mentioned she’d like to adopt “many kids,” but she doesn’t have a specific number in mind. “It’s not really about any specific number, but cherishing and loving the ones God brings to us — whether that be just one, or whether it be more, we’ll be grateful,” she said.
Jessa has shut down rumors she’s currently pregnant, however
Us Weekly reports in the summer of 2018, Jessa mentioned to the publication that she had “baby fever” and would be thrilled if she learned she was expecting. This had many fans wondering if she could be pregnant currently — and though certain publications have stated she was with child, they were wrong. As of now, Jessa is still just enjoying her husband and two sons.
How do we know for sure she’s not expecting? In Touch Weekly reports on Instagram, one user commented on an adorable photo of Jessa’s children, “They are so cute! Congratulations on your 3rd!” To that, Jessa commented back, “Thank you! I didn’t know I was pregnant!”
