Who is in the cast of Mrs Wilson?
Ruth Wilson
Ruth Wilson, 36, is playing her own grandmother and MI6 agent Alison Wilson.
She was married for 22 years to MI6 spy and novelist Alec Wilson.
After his death she discovered that he had another secret wife and three children.
However following Alison's death in 2005, the extent of his deceit became apparent when two other secret wives came forward.
On playing a role that's so personal she said: “It is the closest thing to me I have ever done and it quite scares me.
"I thought, ‘Why am I doing this? It’s too close. It’s too raw. It’s too exposing. I’m worried I can’t properly do it."
Iain Glen
Iain Glen, 57, is playing the role of bigamist and MI6 agent Alec Wilson.
The real life man who the character is based on was born in 1893 and died in 1963.
In addition to Ruth Wilson's grandmother he had three other wives and fathered a total of seven children.
Iain has previously starred in Tomb Raider and plays Ser Jorah Mormont in Game Of Thrones.
Keeley Hawes
Keeley Hawes, 42, plays Alec Wilson's second wife Dorothy Wick.
She is famed for her roles as Julia Montague in the BBC drama The Bodyguard and ITV's The Durrells.
From 2014 to 2016 she also played Detective Inspector Lindsay Denton in The Line of Duty.
She is married to her Spooks co-star Matthew Macfadyen with whom she has two children – she also has a son to ex-husband Spencer McCallum
Anupam Kher
Anupam Kher, 63, plays Alison Wilson's handler who is based in India, Pakistan and London.
As well as starring in many Hindi films the Indian actor has also had international success.
In 2002 he appeared in Bend It Like Beckham and in 2013 he played Dr. Cliff Patel in Silver Linings Playbook.
In 2018 he stars in the NBC medical drama New Amsterdam as Dr. Vijay Kapoor.
Fiona Shaw
Fiona Shaw, 60, plays MI6 boss Coleman.
She previously had a similar role when she played a secret service boss in Killing Eve.
She's also well known for playing strict Aunt Petunia Dursley in the Harry Potter films.
Other films she's starred in include My Left Foot, Jane Eyre, The Avengers and Persuasion.
When is Mrs Wilson on BBC one?
Mrs Wilson starts on Tuesday November 27 at 9pm on BBC One.
The series of comprised of three hour-long episodes.
Filming began in London and Northern Ireland back in April.
The drama is written by Anna Symon, directed by Richard Laxton and produced by Jackie Larkin.
