Who is Sinead Tinker on Coronation Street?

Sinead Tinker first appeared on the cobbles in 2013 and is a machinist at Underworld.

She is the niece of Beth Sutherland and the cousin of Craig Tinker.

Her character is best known for her love triangle with Chesney Brown and Daniel Osbourne.

In 2018 she faces the agonising decision of whether or not to have an abortion when she discovers that she has cervical cancer.

When did Sinead get back together with Daniel Osbourne?

Sinead first started a relationship with Chesney Brown when she arrived in Corrie but left him in 2017 when she slept with Daniel Osbourne.

She later found out she was pregnant and Daniel's dad Ken Barlow convinced her to have an abortion.

Sinead got back together with Chesney after discovering that Daniel was behind the attack on Ken that nearly killed him.

The pair were set to get married in January 2018 but in a shock twist Chesney called the wedding off at the altar. 

Daniel then had a brief fling with Carla Connor which left Sinead heartbroken but they eventually reunited in February 2018.

In October 2018 they tie the knot but the day is overshadowed by Sinead's cervical cancer scare which could harm her and Daniel's unborn baby.

Who plays Sinead Tinker in Coronation Street?

Katie McGlynn, 35, is from Littleborough in Rochdale, Greater Manchester.

After beginning drama school at the age of ten, she studied Drama, English and Media Studies at A-level.

She bagged roles in BBC drama Moving On as well as minor parts in The Well, Paradox and Leonardo.

But her breakthrough role was in BBC school-set soap Waterloo Road in which she played Jodi "Scout" Allen.

She left after series eight in July 2013, just after she joined Corrie.
