Who is Sam Mucklow?
Sam Mucklow is the younger brother of former Towie star Billi.
Billi appeared with her BFF Cara Kilbey back in 2011 before quitting – she is now engaged to West Ham striker Andy Carroll.
He is well known to the cast and his girlfriend is former cast member Nicole Bass.
A TV source said: “Him and Nicole have been together for five months now so if he impresses no doubt he’ll bring her with him.
“He’s been up for the show for a couple of years but the time hasn’t been right.
“He’s really good friends with Tommy Mallet and now is a good time for him to join.”
Sam and Nicole have been going out for five months and shared gushing Instagram posts about each other including one of the pair kissing in which he says: "Four months feel like four days."
She appeared on Towie in series 15 and 16 before going on Ex On The Beach in 2016
What was the ear-biting incident with a football fan?
Sam was banned from football in 2014 after an England fan had part of his ear bitten off.
He got into a row with the victim at the World Cup in Brazil.
Sam was banned for three years meaning he couldn’t watch the national team until last year.
At the time, a pal of ex-Towie star Billi said: “It is a huge embarrassment.”
Witnesses said the attack — in Sao Paulo after England’s 2-1 loss to Uruguay — came after Sam swore at victim Robert Farquharson.
Robert, then 24, lost a chunk of his left ear and was drenched in blood.
A video showed him emerging and dripping with blood and part of his ear missing.
Mucklow, who denied biting him but admitted being involved in a fracas, was detained on his return to the UK.
He got a three-year ban at London’s Thames magistrates.
When is The Only Way Is Essex on TV?
The Only Way Is Essex started on ITVBe on September 2, 2018, at 9pm.
Episodes of the show were filmed in Italy's sophisticated island Sardinia, which doesn't offer the noisy bars and clubs as the usual Towie haunt Marbella has.
An insider told The Sun Online: "They're going to Sardinia in Italy this year, not Marbs, so it's going to be a really different trip this year."

Amber Turner, Myles Barnett, James Bennewith and Shelby Tribble joined their castmates on the trip to Italy.
Courtney Green stayed behind in Essex, as she struggled to get over Myles and was joined by Gemma Collins, Lauren Pope, Jon Clark, Chloe Sims, Chloe Lewis, Chloe Meadows, Bobby Norris, James Argent and Liam Gatsby.
