Who is Rita Ora's new boyfriend Romain Gavras?

RITA Ora is reportedly seeing director Romain Gavras – and according to friends, the couple are "properly loved up".

In less than a year together, the pair have jetted around the world – and have even sparked engagement rumours.

Who is Romain Gavras?

Romain is a Greek-French director, 39, 10 years Rita's senior.

He directed the "Bad Girls" music video in 2012 for M.I.A, for which he was awarded two MTV Video Music Awards for Best Cinematography and Best Direction.

He was also the director behind the music video for Jay-Z and Kanye West's track No Church in the Wild in 2012.

Gavras also directed French comedy film The World Is Yours in 2018 and Robert Pattinson's 2013 Dior HOMME advert.

Sources close to the singer say she is in a serious relationship with music video director Romain Gavras, 39.

Gavras has spoken about growing up in Paris and his artistic background.

He told Purple Diary in 2010: "My father is the film director Costa-Gavras. His father is Kiki Picasso, a politically engaged artist, graphic designer, and video director."

Speaking about his music videos, he said "When I made the two music videos that generated the most attention — the one called “Stress” for Justice and the video for M.I.A., both of which are very violent — I refused to give interviews or to explain them.

"My silence is part of the package. There’s nothing to say. You take from it what you can."

How did Rita Ora and Romain Gavras meet?

They have been an item for nearly eight months — with the romance said to be going from strength to strength.

The couple have jetted off on exotic holidays together during lockdown, sunning it up in Ibiza in July, and Corfu in September.

Rita even sparked engagement rumours after being pictured with a huge ring on her engagement finger back in October.

Rita split from songwriter boyfriend Andrew Watt in 2019.

She was rumoured to be seeing Joey Essex after the pair hit the town together earlier in the year.

She has previously dated Blink 182's Travis Barker, James Arthur and Calvin Harris.
