Who is Matt Willis? What was his early life?

Singer-songwriter, actor and presenter Mathew James "Matt" Willis was born May 8, 1983.

He grew up Tooting, south London.

He attended the famous Sylvia Young Theatre School in Marylebone, London, where he met his close friends Lee Ryan, Tom Fletcher, Billie Piper, Jodi Albert, and the late Amy Winehouse.

When did Matt Willis join Busted? Have they reformed?

Matt first found fame as one-third of Busted alongside Charlie Simpson and James Bourne.

Their most remembered tunes include Year 3000, What I Go To School For and You Said No.

The band disbanded in 2005 due to Charlie leaving to pursue other projects.

On 10 November 2015 Busted announced that the band were set to reform with a 13-date tour starting in 2016.

Due to phenomenal demand more dates were added to the tour.

On 5 July 2008, Matt married his girlfriend of three years, Emma Willis (formally Griffiths), at Rushton Hall, Northamptonshire.

They marked their 10th wedding anniversary in July 2018 by renewing their vows with a star-studded do at the same swanky venue.

Britain’s Got More Talent host Stephen Mulhern officiated the bash after getting specially ordained for the day.

Guests included Marvin and Rochelle Humes, Fearner Cotton and actress Vicky McClure.

A friend said: “It was a wonderful day, full of love and celebration and there was a cheeky screen to watch the England versus Sweden World Cup game.”

The couple have a daughter Isabelle, who was born in June 2009, and a son Alex, born in November 2011.

In May 2016, Emma gave birth to another baby girl, which they named Trixie Grace.
