Who is Mark Little?

Born in Brisbane, Australia, 58-year-old Mark shot to fame in the United Kingdom thanks to his role as Joe Mangel in Neighbours.

The star played iconic character  in the Australian soap between 1988 and 1991, and then again briefly in 2005.

After this he replaced Chris Evans as the host of The Big Breakfast in 1994 – eventually moving to Brighton, and then London.

The star has two sons with his wife, Cath Farr.

Is Mark going to be on Dancing On Ice?

Dancing On Ice is set to return to our screens in January 2019, and Mark is the latest in a long list of celebs to sign up to the show.

The Sun exclusively broke the news on October 3, 2018 with the news being confirmed the following day.

On joining the show,  Mark said "How exciting this is! My skating is pretty rickety. I'll be trying to find the elegance, the strength, the smoothness.

"I'm a bit of a danger man, a bit of a risk taker, and I do like dancing so let's see what happens."


What theatre work has Mark done?

Since Neighbours, Mark has enjoyed success as a theatre actor.

He even won an Olivier Award for one-man-show Defending the Caveman in 2000.

He has also appeared as Roy in a production of Louis Nowra's play Così at The White Bear Theatre, London amongst many other plays.

When will Dancing on Ice 2019 start?

Dancing on Ice 2019 returns to ITV on Sunday January 6 at 6pm.

Phillip Schofield will be back to present the hit show once more alongside Holly Willoughby, who revealed the news of the show's return live on This Morning in late January.

Skating icons and current judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean will return as judges, alongside Jason Gardiner and Ashley Banjo.

The next series is set to reunite Jason and Karen Barber seven years after their heated on-air row after former Olympic skater Karen has landed the role of head coach.

"Having been involved with the show since its very first series, it holds a lot of special memories to me and I'm looking forward to working with this year's celebrities as we start transforming them into skating stars," she said.
