Who is Lottie Lion? Meet The Apprentice 2019 contestant

LOTTIE Lion has been branded racist after allegedly telling her The Apprentice co-star Lubna Farham to “Shut up, Gandhi”.

Now, the 19-year-old has found herself in the middle of a race row- here is what you need to know about her…

What is the race row between Lottie Lion and Lubna Farhan?

Lottie Lion has been slammed after making an offensive jibe to an Asian co-star.

The reality star is said to have told rival Lubna Farham, 33, “Shut up, Gandhi” in a WhatsApp group among contestants.

However, she has been quick to deny the claims, tweeting: “Do not believe everything you read online.

"Utterly disgusting and untrue articles published by The Sun designed to ruin my career. It is desperate what some people will say for a bit of money."

But another contestant, Souleyman Bah, has rubbished her denials and said he was "disgusted" by what she wrote.

Taking to social media, he said: “Of course it’s true, I watched as you posted that message and felt so disgusted at how you could be so blatantly racist towards Lubna and also the comment about black people is subtlety showing off that you’re so posh you don’t mix with people like us (And no I wasn’t the source).”

Souleyman was referring to a row between the contestants after Lottie claimed she had never spoken to a black person before – which was then proven untrue after an image of her with a black friend was posted in the WhatsApp group.

Who is The Apprentice's Lottie Lion?

Lottie, 19, is a librarian from Somerset who insists she's no pushover.

The budding businesswoman claims she can be "very cut throat" and believes that her "powers of persuasion" are her best quality.

She says: "I bring 'class' to everything and ensure nothing I do is half-standard or tacky."

Apart from her job, the contestant is a fan of countryside activities such as horse riding and shooting.

Speaking to The Sun Online after her win she said: “I believe in my business and myself. I think I proved to him [Lord Sugar] I was a really strong contestant.

“As a business woman I always aim high. I did get people saying I will never set up a functioning business in Leeds and I did it.”
