Who is Jodie Comer, how old is she and what is she known for?

Jodie Comer is a 25-year-old British actress and was born March 11, 1993.

Hailing from Liverpool, she won a radio play part at a young age – before getting a guest role in medical spin-off drama The Royal Today.

This led to multiple parts in soaps and crime dramas including Casualty, Vera and Silent Witness.

More major work came with the two drama series Justice and Remember Me, before she landed her best-known role as Chloe Gemell in My Mad Fat Diary, the comedy series on E4.

What else has the Doctor Foster actress starred in?

A 2015 version of Lady Chatterley's Lover brought her first taste of original BBC drama, before she landed a lead role in Thirteen, about a girl who reappears after being abducted thirteen years previously.

In 2016 she also began playing villainous "other woman" Kate, Parks, a university graduate, in Doctor Foster, opposite Suranne Jones and Bertie Carvel.

The following year she appeared as Elizabeth of York in The White Princess, a sequel to BBC series The White Queen.


When is Killing Eve on BBC One and who does Jodie play?

Killing Eve starts on BBC One at 9.15pm on Saturday, September 15.

The series is about a bored MI5 officer called Eve (Sandra Oh) who is tasked with tracking down the Russian assassin Villanelle (Jodie Comer).

Each episode will become available on iPlayer shortly after being broadcast.

BBC America, who helped produce the show, have already confirmed a second series is in the making.
