Who is Hamish Gaman?

Hamis Gaman is a 34-year-old pair who was born in Surrey and raised in Wimbledon.

He began skating in 1998 and is a member of Guildford IFSC in Surrey.

Alongside his skate partner Caitlin Yankowskas, he is the 2015 Challenge Cup silver medalist and 2015 British National champion.

On September 10, 2015, Hamish and Caitlin announced their retirements from competitive figure skating due – citing lack of funding as the reason.

Hamish has previously been partnered with Vanessa James and Rebcca Collett, and had been coached by Bruno Marcotte and choreographed by Julie Marcotte.

For the 2018 edition, Hamish was partnered with Perri Shakes-Drayton – with the pair leaving in week three.

Who is Hamish paired with for Dancing On Ice 2019?#

This year Hamish is skating alongside singer Saara Aalto.

Saara is no stranger to TV having reached the final of The X Factor in 2016.

She also represented Finland in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Monsters.

When is Dancing On Ice on TV?

Dancing On Ice 2019 returned to ITV on Sunday, January 6 and continues tonight at 6pm.

Phillip Schofield is back to present the hit show once more alongside Holly Willoughby, who revealed the news of the show's return live on This Morning in late January.

Skating icons and current judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean will return as judges, alongside Jason Gardiner and Ashley Banjo.

The series has reunited Jason and Karen Barber seven years after their heated on-air row after former Olympic skater Karen has landed the role of head coach.

"Having been involved with the show since its very first series, it holds a lot of special memories to me and I'm looking forward to working with this year's celebrities as we start transforming them into skating stars," she said.
