Who is Andrew Buchan?

Andrew Buchan, 39, is a British actor originally from Stockport. He's best known for his role of Mark Latimer in ITV's Broachurch.

Andrew attended Durham University to study Modern Languages before attending RADA to study drama.

Buchan has been married to Amy Nuttall since 2012, a fellow British actor best known for her roles in Emmerdale and Downton Abbey.

Amy and Andrew had their first child, a daughter, in April 2015.

What else has Andrew Buchan appeared in?

Before his role in Broadchurch, Buchan was lesser known to the British public.

His acting career started in Manchester in 2005 when he played the role of Mercutio in a theatre production of Romeo and Juliet.

His career on the small screen began in 2006 in Jane Eyre, he then landed the role of Scott Foster in political drama Party Animals.

Andrew appeared in BBC period drama Garrow's Law between 2009-2011 before being cast for Broadchurch.

Who does Andrew play in The ABC Murders?

Andrew is back on the box in new Agatha Christie crime thriller The ABC Murders.

He plays X in the new BBC show.

The ABC Murders is a three part drama which will air on Boxing Day at 9pm on BBC1.

It then continues on December 27 and 28, also at 9pm.
