Who are the Great British Christmas Menu 2020 contestants? Pip, Alex, Lisa, Matt and more

A NEW series of Great British Menu is coming soon.

This time it's a Christmas edition, making it perfect viewing for getting into the festive spirit.

Who's is competing in Great British Christmas Menu?

Jason Atherton

Jason is a Michelin stared chef who began his career with Marco Pierre White.

He founded The Social Company and opened his first restaurant in 2011, Pollen Street Social.

He's also worked for Gordon Ramsay Holdings.

Tom Aikens

Tom has been working as a head chef for 25 years and is the owner of Muse bar and restaurant, based in London.

In light of the pandemic, he's made his meals deliverable.

Tom Barnes

Tom won the 2020 standard series of the show, so has come back for this festive edition.

He works for Simon Rogan, who is also competing in this series.

He works as the executive chef at L‘Enclume and Rogan & Co, which are based in Cumbria.

Richard Bainbridge

Richard is the chef and owner of Benedicts, based in Norfolk.

He's also gone down the route of delivering his food while restaurants are closed.

Pip Lacey

Pip is co-owner of the restaurant Hicce London, which is based in London's Kings Cross.

Niall Keating

Niall is the executive chef at two Michelin-starred restaurant Whatley Manor Hotel & Spa, which is in the Cotswolds.

He won the award for Michelin’s European Young Chef of The Year in 2018.

Matt Gillan

Matt Gillan has appeared on Great British Menu twice, first in 2013 then in 2015.

He owns Heritage restaurant which is located in Sussex.

Lisa Goodwin-Allen

Lisa is an executive chef at a restaurant based in a Lancashire hotel called Northcote Hotel and Restaurant.

It's a Michelin starred restaurant and Lisa has been in her role since 2015.

James Cochran

James is the owner and head chef of the award-winning 12:51 restaurant, and he used to work at The Ledbury under the training of Brett Graham.

He won Great British Menu in 2018.

Alex Greene

Alex is the head chef at Deanes Eipic, which is based in Belfast.

He was previously a finalist on Great British Menu in series 14 and got two dishes to the banquet.

Simon Rogan

Simon Rogan owns  L’Enclume, where Tom Barnes works.

He's also worked in pop-up restaurants and made media appearances.

Tommy Banks

Tommy Banks is chef director at Black Swan Oldstead.

He won Great British Menu in both 2016 and 2017.

Plus, he was Britain’s youngest Michelin-starred chef in 2013.
