Where is Victoria filmed? Liverpool and Hull locations revealed for series three

VICTORIA is back on our screens once again TONIGHT.

The drama is set at the heart of the courts of Queen Victoria and has some beautiful filming locations to look out for.

Where is Victoria filmed?

Most of the action is centred on the show's events at Buckingham Palace, which are filmed in a studio in Church Fenton.

But the show is also shot on location – here is where filming took place for series three…

Hull, East Yorkshire

Filming for Victoria season three took place in Hull's High Street.

The area was transformed into Victorian England to make the location look authentic.

The area was also used for series two of the show.

Liverpool, Merseyside

Filming took place in Liverpool's Georgian Quarter with the cast spotted around the area in 2018.

Mammoth Screen producers were seen setting up on Falkner Square Gardens, Huskisson Street and Bedford Street before filming began.

Actors – including Jenna Coleman, Tom Hughes and Laurence Fox – could be seen wearing period dress and shooting scenes.

Harewood House

Parts of the stunning Harewood House, near Leeds, West Yorkshire, are transformed in to Buckingham Palace.

It is no wonder that the sumptuous Palladian mansion was selected, as its official rooms embody all the pomp of their eras.

In fact, the real young Princess Victoria visited in 1835 and wrote in her diary on September 12: "Harewood is in Yorkshire. The park seems very fine; the  view from the window is very pretty. We dined in the beautiful gallery with a party of nearly 300 in number."

The location has been used in all three series of the show.

When is the third series of Victoria on TV?

Season three of Victoria continues TONIGHT (May 5th) at 9pm on ITV

The show has already started airing in the US, much to the UK fans disappointment.

The drama follows the life of Queen Victoria and her marriage to Prince Albert.

It was created by Daisy Goodwin and stars Jenna Coleman as Victoria and Tom Hughes as Prince Albert.
