When was Declan and wife Ali's baby born?
The expectant couple attended the Bafta TV Awards on May 13 and revealed that their baby was due in September.
The pair spoke publicly for the first time about their new addition, with Dec beaming and Ali confirming the due date saying, “I just wish it would come out now, that we could fast-forward to having the baby. We want to get on with it – we can’t wait.”
On March 24, The Sun on Sunday revealed the couple were expecting their first child.
A close source told The Sun that they wanted to keep it a secret until Ali was past the 12-week mark.
The pair first broke the news to close friends and family, including Ant McPartlin, until Dec's wife was safely over that period.
Ant is reportedly "over the moon" whilst Ant's estranged wife Lisa Armstrong also liked Dec's tweet about the good news.
Dec thanked fans on Twitter for their 'love' as he opened up about the pregnancy for the first time.
The 42-year-old star shared a romantic throwback from his and wife Ali Astall's wedding day and wrote: "Just wanted to say thank you for all the lovely messages. The news has sneaked out a little earlier than we had hoped but Ali and I are delighted to be expecting our first child.
"Thanks for all the love, we really appreciate it ❤ D x."
In March the couple were seen in public for the first time since confirming the news as Ali made her commute to work in West London from Chiswick.
And on March 31, Ali came backstage to support Dec after he presented Saturday Night Takeaway alone for the first time.
In early July, Dec's wife showed off her growing baby bump as the couple attended House Festival in North London.
On September 1, 2018, the couple announced their daughter had arrived.
The presenter broke the news writing: "Ali and I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our baby girl, Isla Elizabeth Anne, who was born just after 9 o’clock this morning. Mother and daughter both doing well, Dad is head over heels! D x".
How long have the couple been married?
The couple got married back in 2015, enjoying an intimate ceremony in Newcastle.
Ali is an Australian talent manager who works with other celebrities, including Holly Willoughby and Fearne Cotton.
She and Dec had known each other for a decade before getting married but started dating in August 2013.
Co-host Ant was best man, and around 200 guests attended their nuptials.
