When did Coleen Nolan and Kim Woodburn's feud start, what happened on Loose Women and have either of the CBB housemates apologised?

The two had originally agreed to try and resolve their 18-month feud, but things escalated to a point that Kim broke down in tears and stormed off but when did they argue? Here's the lowdown…

When did Coleen Nolan and Kim Woodburn's feud start?

Coleen, 53, and Kim, 76, first crossed paths in the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2017, where Kim claimed her experience Coleen and their co-stars had “bullied” her.

Although the pair didn't clash often while sharing the house, they soon became arch enemies following their post-eviction interviews.

The war of words seemingly began when Kim told The Sun Online how she was furious that "Fag Ash Lil" had won.

She said: "I will say this now – How that woman won Celebrity Big Brother when Jedward were sitting there, I have no idea!

"Public, I don't know how you let that boring, Fag Ash Lil' – with what I know now to be a rotten mouth about her about me – win. She shouldn't have won. It should have been Jedward."

Coleen tried to end the row with a recorded message on Loose Women for Kim's last appearance but the latter shunned the former's attempt of an olive branch.

What did they argue about?

On August 29, 2018, Kim appeared on Loose Women in an effort to bury the long-running feud with Coleen.

The How Clean Is Your House host later revealed she only agreed to appear after being told that Coleen would say her part, and then she be allowed to reply.

However, the awkward reunion ended with a fierce confrontation live on air, causing Kim to brand Coleen "lying trash" and storm out of the studio.

The confrontation was sparked when Kim began crying while speaking about her childhood, saying: "I had a very very sad childhood, I had a brutal childhood."

But as Kim spoke movingly about the abuse she suffered, Coleen whispered: "We got this every day as well."

Coleen then whispered under her breath: "She's going to cry in a minute," which lead Kim to storm out while branding her former co-star a "piece of filth."

Has the Loose Women presenter apologised to her former CBB housemate?

Viewers started a petition to get Coleen sacked for her part in the row and Kim later told The Sun: “I was ambushed, it was disgusting.

"It was like a circus and I was there for some cruel entertainment. I want Coleen and her sister fired."

The bust-up caused Ofcom to receive more than 3,000 complaints from furious fans yet despite this, Coleen's son Shane revealed his mum won't be apologising.

Shane took to Twitter to reply to a follower eager to hear Coleen's public apology: "There won’t be one I don’t think. She’s not on till Friday anyway.

"Kim being on was nothing to do with my mum. The only apology should come from the producers. Anyway, I’m bored talking about the same thing. Night."
