When did Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom get engaged?
Orlando Bloom popped the big question to his longtime girlfriend Katy Perry on Valentine's Day (February 14, 2019).
Fans realised the two lovebirds were engaged even before the two stars made a statement.
They spotted pictures on Katy's mom's Facebook page that were shared with the caption "Look who got engaged on Valentine's Day!!".
The post shows two blurry photos of Katy and Orlando under a heart-shaped arch made of balloons and the pink diamond engagement ring.
The 34-year-old singer made sure to not leave her fans hanging and confirmed the news on her Instagram the following morning.
"In bloom," she commented, sharing a picture of her pink diamond engagement ring.
When have they been dating since?
Katy and Orlando have been dating on and off for three years since getting together at a Golden Globes afterparty in 2016.
They caused a stir in August 2016 as they were pictured paddle boarding naked.
They split in March 2017, issuing a joint statement saying they were “taking respectful, loving space at this time”.
They were spotted back together on holiday in Japan in December that year, and The Sun Online revealed they were officially back on in February 2018.
And now, they’ve finally made things official.
How much was her ring?
We have no clue how much it cost Orlando, but it's probably more than a year's rent for most normal folk.
It has a HUGE vivid pink centre stone that's framed with eight diamonds to make it look like a flower.
The masterpiece has a simple gold band and takes over the majority of Katy's left ring finger.

It is unclear when the famous couple is planning on tying the knot, but they have plenty of time to figure that out considering they literally just got engaged.
Both stars have been married once before and have experienced divorce.
Katy was previously married to comedian Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012.
As for Orlando, he was husband to Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr from 2010 until 2013 and together they have a son.
