8pm, ABC

The stories of Sigrid Thornton's parents are just as interesting as her own. Under the comedian/artist's astute gaze, the veteran actress tells of her mother's acts of feminist protest in 1960s Brisbane, and of her father's involvement in the post-war clean-up in Japan. Reflecting on her own career, Thornton is humble and generous, revealing a genuinely warm and emotional person beneath the famously dimpled smile.

Tonight, the latter ups the ante by getting close to one of Zoe's friends.
