However things came to an end in their relationship after Lola dumped him by phone, telling him she was now dating their friend Dexter Hartman.
Jay has since moved on of course, with his on-off romance with Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton), but the return of Lola could well throw a major spanner in the works.
Will Jay and Lola get back together?
With Lola only back in the Square this week it’s probably too early to say whether or not the romance will be rekindled.
However next week’s episodes will see Lola and Jay meeting up for a drink – despite Ben’s disapproval.
She tells him she just wants to be friends – but that doesn’t stop the pair of them sharing a sneaky kiss.
Where will it all lead? We’ll just have to keep watching…
