'Vanderpump Rules' Star Scheana Marie Says Season 7 Will Be Toughest on James Kennedy

Scheana Marie, Lala Kent, James Kennedy and Billie Lee tell TooFab what viewers can expect when “Vanderpump Rules” returns to Bravo on Dec. 3.

We don’t know much about what to expect when "Vanderpump Rules" returns to Bravo next month, but we do know it’ll be a tough season for James Kennedy and Billie Lee.

TooFab caught up with some of the cast at the Vanderpump Dog Foundation gala last week, where Scheana Marie said she was thankful to be putting Season 6 behind her.

"This I think is the best I’ve felt about a season since maybe the second one," Scheana told us, adding that she felt she had done a "180" since walking out of the reunion earlier this year.

So who did have it the worst this time around? "James," she said without hesitation. "I don’t know how it’s all gonna play out, but we’re good [now]."

But it seems James isn’t stressed about anything that happened during filming. When we asked the self-proclaimed "white Kanye" what viewers can expect to see Dec. 3, he smiled and said, "It’s gonna be lots of drama, as always, some fun trips, some fun parties and a lot of drinking." James’ girlfriend, Raquel Leviss, didn’t seem bothered by the upcoming season, either.

Who did seem bothered by what transpired during filming was last year’s newcomer, Billie Lee. As an openly transgender woman, the SUR hostess used her platform on the show to educate viewers about the LGBTQ community.

"You’re gonna get more of me [this season]," she told us. "It’s hard this season. I’m always vulnerable, always open with my life, and I was tested a lot this season. I cried a lot, I had surgery, there’s just a lot going on, and you will see that. You can’t stop the cameras, and it’s real life. There’s a lot of emotion. You’ll see me going off — that’s for sure."

When asked if she had any regrets, Billie said, "No, I don’t hold back. This season was a big trigger for me. It brought up some stuff from my childhood, just not feeling included. I think we need to look at how trans people are treated in America, and they’re not included in a lot of things," she said, shaming Victoria’s Secret in the process.

"I’m just grateful that I can speak my truth and that I have a platform to normalize the trans experience because America needs to see trans women dating, living their life, being employed," she added. "Hire us, give us opportunities — because we’re struggling."

"Vanderpump Rules" Season 7 premieres Monday, December 3 at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
