Reality tv stars and celebrities are known for bouncing back to their pre-baby bodies relatively quickly after giving birth. As the women of Vanderpump Rules are all about their looks, some fans wondered how the new moms would deal with their adjusting bodies. But when Lala Kent recently stepped out for a date night with her fiancé Randall Emmett, she definitely did not look like someone who just gave birth two weeks prior.
Lala Kent’s baby Ocean arrives
Though Kent is usually quick to update her fans on everything that happens in her life via social media, she waited a week before introducing her new baby, Ocean, to her followers.
“A week ago, March 15th 2021, at 6:45AM, my life changed forever,” Kent wrote on Instagram. “This little 5 lb 10 oz, sign of Pisces sent me into a world I can only explain as heavenly. No one could have prepared me for this kind of love. Ocean, you are the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. I am so honored to be your mama- my heart could just burst.”
Ocean is Kent’s first child with Emmett.
Lala Kent snapped right back
Many celebrities hire physical trainers and personal chefs to get back in shape after giving birth, but even then, it takes some time to start seeing results. Kent, on the other hand, looked just like her old self in a recent picture that Emmett posted for his birthday.
“Amazing birthday dinner last night!!” he captioned the photo of he and Kent posing. “Thank you everyone who came and sent kind wishes! Thank you Lala for leaving the house for an hour and our beautiful daughter.”
Fans were quick to express their shock at how great Kent looked in her see-through top.
“She gave birth two weeks ago and looks like THAT???? wow,” one fan commented.
“I’m sorry?! she gave birth an hour ago?” another person wrote. “WHAT?! D*mn her genes.”
“Happy Birthday to you! 10 days post partum and Lala looks like she never was pregnant,” another user said. “That’s a gift right there.”
Some fans wanted to take the focus off of the fact that Kent had just given birth.
“For everyone saying that Lala looks good for just having a baby… how about Lala just looks good. PERIOD,” one person wrote.
Will Lala return to ‘Vanderpump Rules’?
Now that Kent is a new mom, her priorities have changed. As Emmett wrote in his caption, she only came to his birthday dinner for an hour, whereas the old Kent would have probably been out all night. So, what does that mean for Vanderpump Rules? Will Kent return?
“I need to see what next season would entail,” she told Entertainment Tonight before giving birth. “I need to make sure that’s a healthy space for me. I don’t get to think just about what’s good for Lala and how she would react to certain things, you know? I’m going to be a mother. … I have my own child looking up to me, so it would have to be the right situation. It’s a different zone now. Brittany and I are becoming moms, I just don’t see me walking into SUR clapping back at Danica [Dow] for serving me the wrong meal, you know? A lot is going to change.”
