Spoilers about Bachelor in Paradise and the next Bachelor ahead!
If you managed to set aside how pissed you are about ABC reportedly picking Peter Weber to be the next Bachelor instead of Mike Johnson and watched Bachelor in Paradise last night, then you know Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes are headed for a breakup. That is, unless she convinces him otherwise, like he said she’d need to.
So last night, Caelynn pulled Dean aside to know where his head is at. Aside from Dean’s controversial mustache and messy dating habits, he seems like a fine guy, so it’s only natural that Caelynn would want a serious relationship with him.
She started out the conversation by mentioning how everyone has told her to be careful with dating him and that she doesn’t want to get hurt. That’s when he hit her with this:
He also said that he doesn’t “want a normal life” or “to go to dinner parties on Saturday night and to talk about our feelings and our emotions.” Oh, and he added that she’d be miserable as his girlfriend. What a lovely thing to hear from the guy you’re interested in dating!!
Trying to save face, Caelynn just sat there without saying anything. And in her confessional, she wondered why he was even in Paradise if he didn’t want a relationship.
Later in the episode, Dean helped Caelynn celebrate her birthday, and it seemed like she might have overlooked everything he said earlier.
Now, Twitter is roasting both of them for the whole thing.
