The actress, known for playing the moody teenager, will feature in a one-off special of spin-off The Dumping Ground with ex-EastEnders star Michelle Collins on December 7.
And now aged 30 – the challenges of filming couldn’t be anymore different to when she first started the show at 12-years-old.
In an exclusive interview, Dani, who gave birth to daughter Avarie-Belle in 2016, said: “You don’t realise when you have your first child how difficult trying to find child care is, it’s crazy, especially with a job like mine.
“It definitely takes an army.
"We all pitch in and it’s sometimes a bit like pass the baby but luckily she loves her family and it actually helps her development.”
Dani returns for carer Mike’s wedding day but with the groom gone AWOL everyone must unite to find him and save the day.
Her appearance will delight fans of the show up and down the country, not least the ones that believe she actually is Tracy Beaker.
Dani added: “I do have the odd occasion where people actually think I am Tracey Beaker in real life and the whole thing is real.
“And I just put it down to the fact that we really did a great job on that programme.”
They’ll have an even bigger shock when they find out Tracy is now a mum.
