Topless Martin Roberts panics as water floods through the ceiling in chaotic video from hotel | The Sun

TOPLESS Martin Roberts panicked as water flooded through the ceiling in a chaotic video from his hotel.

The Homes Under the Hammer presenter took to Twitter on Tuesday to share an update while away filming the BBC series.

The video opened with a shot of the water running out of a light fitting and splashing on the wooden floor.

Martin then turned the camera around to himself, revealing his bare shoulders and wet hair.

He said: "Oh dear! Not a thing you expect first thing in your hotel bedroom!

"I think someone might have left the bath running upstairs…oh dear".

His fans were quick to comment, with one using a classic line from the show saying: "We’re going to find out what happens later on in the show right??"

Martin replied: "You are x."

He was a man of his word too, as a little while later he updated fans on who had caused the water leak, and it was someone from the Homes Under the Hammer team.

Now dressed in a white fluffy robe and with dry hair, Martin said: "You'll love this! Turns out it was Martel!"

Martin was referring to co-star Martel Maxwell, and explained how they were both staying at the hotel while filming links for the series.

He continued: "She's in the room above me, she left the tap running.

"To be fair to her, there was a power cut, she got a bit confused and went downstairs to the reception, meanwhile the power came back, the tap carried on running and yeah it's flooded my room."

Thankfully there was no hard feelings and Martin put his hand on the wall and laughed about the early morning drama.

Homes Under the Hammer airs on BBC One and is available on BBC iPlayer.
